Zoom Scheduler Availability Poll (Doodle Alternative)

Zoom Scheduler has a feature called Availability Poll that serves as a better alternative meeting availability poll such as Doodle or when2meet. Zoom Scheduler is more secure, ad-free, and is integrated with Google Calendar and Zoom to create Zoom meeting invitations.

Instructions

1. First select Scheduler in the Zoom App, Click + and then Availability Poll

2. Enter the Poll Name for your poll.

3. Select the Duration

4. For Hosts, you have an option to add up to 9 calendars to view to determine some times that are available. You do not have to add any hosts, you can leave blank and you will have the option to get a URL to send to anyone, including those outside Lehigh. This functionality works similar to Doodle.

5. Fill out the remaining sections. If you do not want scheduler to automatically create a Zoom meeting, select None under Video conferencing.

6. Lastly, select various blocks of times that you want your attendees to select their availability. Then click Next

7. Review your selection. You do have the option to allow participants to see other’s names and votes.
   
   

8. Once you good with your selection, click Publish.

9. You have the option to copy the URL using Copy Link and send it to your attendees, similar to Doodle. You and anyone you added as a host will also get an email from Zoom with this poll information.
   
   

10. You will get emails when your attendees complete the poll. At any point in time, you can visit the booking page to view the poll and select a winner by clicking Book this time.
    
    

11. You have the option to add additional attendees. When done, select Book Schedule. An email invitation will be sent to all attendees.
