EquatIO

EquatIO software allows you to create mathematical equations, formulas and more directly on your computer. Simply type, handwrite or dictate any expression,and EquatIO will convert it to accurate digital math which can be added into a Microsoft Word doc or G Suite apps with a click.

How to use EquatIO

This session will include a brief demo of EquatIO as well as time for questions. Faculty representatives will also be available to answer more subject specific questions. The goal after attending, is that you should be ready to start using EquatIO on your own.


Google Chrome extension (Use with Google)

To install the Chrome extension, simply go to the Google Chrome web store link, and install the extension by clicking "Add to Chrome". IMPORTANT: In order to be granted a full version license, you will need to be logged into Chrome with your Lehigh Google account. You can sign into Chrome from the main browser menu (typically at the top-right), and select sign in. You can also sign in with multiple accounts and simply switch to your Lehigh Google profile before installed the EquatIO extension.

Using with Moodle (Course Site)

You can create or edit your math in any supported EquatIO software (Microsoft Office 365, G Suite (docs, forms, etc)) and then copy and paste into Moodle using the "Copy Math As" button in EquatIO. More information (See 1:50 for Moodle):
