The Revolabs xTAG is a wireless microphone that is recommended for CART services. It pairs to a USB docking station that is connected to the computer you wish to capture the microphone audio.
The microphone can be worn either with a lanyard or by clipping on the mic. It's tested and works well in Zoom.
Revolabs xTAG quick start guide:
- Plug in USB docking station to a computer and dock microphone to charge the battery. A full charge takes 8 hours.
- The docking station will need to be plugged into the computer you wish to capture the microphone audio.
- To power on the microphone press and hold the button on the front of the microphone for 3 seconds.
- Upon powering on, the light on top of microphone will be flashing red. This means the mic is muted. Tap the button on the front of the mic one time to unmute. The light should now be flashing green. A flashing green light on the docking station also indicates the microphone is now live.
- There is also a mute button on top of the docking station. Both the microphone and docking station can mute and unmute each other. They are always in sync. Tap once to mute or unmute.
- To power off the microphone press and hold the power button for approximately 10 seconds until you see a static red light on the top of the microphone.
