Assignment Uploads Larger than 50 MB
File upload sizes for assignments are restricted to maintain Course Site performance. If students need to upload a file larger than 50MB, there are a several alternatives.
Video Files: Use Panopto
You can set up a Panopto Dropbox for your students, Drop Box or Assignment folder for Student Recordings
Multiple File Formats: Use Google
Google Assignments (Private) allows students to link any type of file uploaded (up to 20) to their Google Drive and utilize the functionality of Google tools. Google Assignments is also integrated into Course Site grade book. Google Assignments
OR you can also share a Google folder (Public) and allow students to upload (students will be able to see and edit all items in the folder). This Google folder link could be added to a Course Site Assignment or anywhere in your Course Site.
Microsoft or specially Formatted Files: Use Dropbox
Most Microsoft files are compatible with Google, but not all functionality will be preserved. Dropbox has more total space allowances and you can create a private file request folder with deadline settings as well as specific naming conventions. Students will not be able to see each other's submissions. https://lehigh.atlassian.net/l/cp/1x0hMaqa
