External (LTI) tool and service integrations

A commitment to supporting and maintaining full support of global standards such as the LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) standard, is a hallmark characteristic of Moodle’s platform. Supporting this standard gives Moodle the ability to connect to a wide array of third-party services, tools, platforms, content, and/or activities. LTI tools generally require LTS review and testing so long as the third party complies with the LTI standard and safeguards data appropriately.

The tools we currently support help to further enhance the learning experience by offering specialized functionality, content, and activities - and all while continuing to provide a consistent user-experience for students as all of these tools are accessible conveniently, and only through Course Site (Moodle).
