IBM - SPSS

SPSS Statistics is a statistical software suite developed by IBM for data management, advanced analytics, multivariate analysis, business intelligence, criminal investigation. Long produced by SPSS Inc., it was acquired by IBM in 2009. Current versions have the brand name: IBM SPSS Statistics.

Lehigh University manages a campus site license for SPSS that is available for faculty, staff or students at Lehigh. There are two methods for using the SPSS software:

Virtually via LUapps  LUapps is a virtual software delivery system that allows users to access a variety of software titles.  In most cases, the software available via LUapps is the newest version available.  The SPSS License is renewed each year on October 1, so if a newer version becomes available at that time, it will be upgraded during the winter break.

Local Installation:  For heavier users of SPSS, or those seeking a specific, older version, installing the software on your computer locally may be a more convenient or higher-performance option.  Follow the instructions in Install IBM SPSS Statistics on Windows or macOS and Activate IBM SPSS Statistics.
