LTS Software Distribution Systems
Desktop PC Imaging
New PCs at Lehigh are loaded with a standardized software image that includes Microsoft Office, our current anti-virus / anti-malware software, and links to most major Lehigh software systems.
LTS Classrooms, Departmental Classrooms and Computing Sites: https://ltsfacilities.lehigh.edu
LTS provides software for all LTS-managed Classrooms and Computing Sites, and assists departments with deployment of software to their in-house classrooms. While LTS assists in connecting our licensed software to the space, the primary support contact for Departmental Classrooms and Labs is a designated contact within the department, not LTS.
Downloadable Installers: LTS Software Pages (https://software.lehigh.edu)
Also called LU Install Software or LUIS, this page provides a web repository with information on software packages provided by LTS and related public-domain software. In most cases, the listings provide links to downloadable installers, and provide details regarding the campus's license for using the software. Access to the applications depends on the licensing for each, which can vary by where it's being accessed from, and by whom. For instance, applications that are only licensed for installation in a particular room or building are restricted so that you will only see the download option if you are in that building.
Virtualized Software: Virtual Labs (LUapps)
"On-demand" access to software installed and running on servers in Lehigh's data centers. These applications are available via the Citrix Workspace client and can be accessed with almost any device (desktop, laptop, tablet, etc.) while connected to the campus network. Remote access is available via the Lehigh VPN.
Software for Research: HPC Software List
The Research Computing group supports computational and data science and engineering research on Sol, Lehigh's High Performance Computing Cluster. Several free and open source, and commercial softwares, compilers and libraries are available for academic research to HPC users. Several of these softwares and libraries are optimized to run in parallel on Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs. Please visit HPC documentation to learn more.

jamf Apple device management
Macs at Lehigh are enrolled in the jamf management system, which includes a self-service tool that allows for one-click installation of several software packages.
