Microsoft Software @ Lehigh

Lehigh University has a campus software agreement with Microsoft for Office 365 which is available to all students. Office 365 provides the latest versions of the MS Office suite for use on desktops, laptops and mobile devices as well as access to the online Office web apps and OneDrive for Business cloud storage space.

Office 365

  • MS Office suite for Windows/Mac (latest version).
  • MS Office for mobile devices (phones and tablets).
  • Access to web versions of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • 512GB of OneDrive for Business cloud storage space.

Students can install Office software on up to 5 computers and up to 5 mobile devices. View MS Office download, installation, and other instructions.

G Suite @ Lehigh

Go to Lehigh G Suite apps. Lehigh University is a Google for Education partner school. All Lehigh students can access Lehigh G Suite when their Lehigh computer account is created.   

Virus/Malware Protection Software

Windows Defender (Windows PCs only)

Windows Defender comes pre-built into the Windows operating system (Win 10 and Win 11).   This anti-virus program provides adequate protection against viruses and is supported by Microsoft.   

Malwarebytes  (Windows and Mac)

Available as a free basic version or $24.95 Pro version, Malwarebytes is an anti-virus/anti-malware application that is particularly known for its ability to remove threats effectively and completely. The free version is an on-demand scanner that will check for and remove viruses/malware from a PC.  The Pro version provides real-time protection that blocks viruses from getting on a PC. Unlike other anti-virus applications Malwarebytes can be run with another anti-virus package with no loss in performance. The software can be downloaded directly from the Malwarebytes website.  

LUapps

LUapps is a service that allows you to access software applications anytime, anywhere, and on any device. LUapps simplifies access to over 60 software titles from a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone, and provides a more consistent user experience across Mac and Windows operating systems. 

Lehigh Software Page

The Lehigh Software page is located at software.lehigh.edu. This is the central repository for all course-related software used at Lehigh. After logging into the site a student can see which software packages are available to be installed on their personal computer and which are only accessible at Lehigh public site computer lab. When viewing individual titles information is displayed on what the title is, the current version and how you can use
