All Equipment Loaned from the Digital Media Studio Lab

Reservations are not required. Walk-in requests for equipment loan are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Below is a list of all of the equipment available for loan from the Lehigh Digital Media Studio Lab.

All loans are for 2 days.

Camcorder Kits (Video)	Models: Canon XA20 camcorder - 1920 x 1080 resolution, 24-60fps. Canon R600 camcorder - 1920 x 1080 resolution, 30-60fps. For video recording only. Both kits include: Shure SM11 lapel mic, Shure VP83 shotgun mic, (2) batteries, AC power adapter, and a SDHC memory card. Tutorial: Canon R600 instructions.
Camera Kits (DSLR's)	Models: Canon 80D* - 24.2 Megapixel camera with EF-S 18-135mm lens (Documentary Filmmaking) Canon T8i - 24.1 Megapixel camera with EF-S 18-55mm lens Canon T7i - 24.2 Megapixel camera with EF-S 18-55mm lens Nikon D5300 - 24.2 Megapixel camera with 18-55mm lens For photography and video. Note: DSLR video recording limits to 30 min clips and then it stops. Recording needs to be started again after 30 min. The 80D/T7i/D5300 records video at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Frame rate options are between 24-60fps. The Canon T8i records 4K video (3840 x 2160) at 24fps. *Canon 80D models are currently reserved for our documentary filmmaking courses. 80D Kit includes Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens, Sennheiser MKE600 shotgun mic, Sony ECM-44B/77B lapel mic, shock mount, (3) LP-E6 batteries, battery charger, and SDHC memory card. Classroom Microphones	Models: Hyflex 1 - Wireless Lapel Sennheiser SK-XSW Hyflex 2 - Wireless Lapel Shure ULX1 J1 Hyflex 2 - Wireless Handheld Shure SM58 model ULX2-J1 These mics need to be programmed for the specific frequencies to work in the designated classrooms on campus. They can be loaned out by professors for the entire semester. Classroom Microphone (Frequencies).
Conference Kits	Models: Meeting Owl 360° Panasonic PressIT360 camera speakerphone ClearOne Chat 170 + Logitech C920 Webcam Both kits are compatible with Zoom and Panopto. The Owl Labs Meeting Camera is an in one 360 degree camera and microphone/speaker for web conferencing meetings. It attaches to your computer via USB A. Tutorial: Meeting Owl 360 Instructions. The Panasonic PressIT360 is a 360 degree all in one camera speakerphone. The ClearOne Chat 170 is a speaker and a mic all in one. This kit also comes with a Logitech Webcam. Document Camera Kits	Models: Elmo MX-P2 (4K at 30fps, 1920 x 1080 at 60fps) IPEVO VZ-R (3264 x 2448 at 10fps via USB mode, 1920 x 1080 at 30fps via HDMI) IPEVO Do-Cam (3264 x 2448 at 10fps via USB mode, 1920 x 1080 at 30fps via HDMI) The Elmo MX-P2, IPEVO VZ-R, and IPEVO Do-Cam are very easy to use document cameras. DVD/Blu-ray Players	Models: LG Slim Portable DVD/Blu-ray Drive (External USB) Our LG Slim drives connect via USB A and allow disc burning and reading. Max 6x BD-R Read and Write Speed. Max 8x DVD±R Read and Write Speed. Max 24x CD-R Read and Write Speed. Supports 3D Blu-ray Disc Playback.
GoPro 360 Kits	Models: GoPro MAX 360 Capture spherical 360 footage using both cameras or capture 16x9 aspect ratio high definition footage with a single camera. Captures 5.6K 360 video at 30 fps. Tutorial: GoPro MAX 360 Instructions.
Hard Drives	Models: Western Digital Passport LaCie SSD* Western digital external drive sizes range from 500GB to 2TB. USB 3.0 devices. They connect via USB A. *Documentary filmmaking courses have access to LaCie 1TB SSD drives.
Journalism Lenses	Models: Canon EF 70-200M f/2,8L IS II USM Telephoto lens with lens hood, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L Telephoto lens with lens hood, Canon EF-S 17-55mm 2.8 IS USM lens For Journalism students only.
Journalism Multimedia Kits	Models: Canon 90D - 32.5 Megapixel camera with EF-S 18-135mm lens Canon 80D - 24.2 Megapixel camera with EF-S 18-135mm lens Canon 70D - 20.2 Megapixel camera with EF-S 18-135mm lens* For Journalism students only. Note: Canon 70D model does not come with a headphone jack for monitoring audio while recording. Canon 80D/Canon 70D cameras record video at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Frame rate options are between 24-60fps. Canon 90D records 4K video (3840 x 2160) at 24-30fps, and Full HD (1920 x 1080) video at 24-120fps. All multimedia kits come with microphones. Journalism Light Kits	Models: LED Flashpoint light For Journalism students only. Comes with (2) batteries, battery charger, camera mount attachment, and handheld mount.
Journalism Photo Kits	Models: Canon T7i - 24.2 Megapixel camera with EF-S 18-135mm lens For Journalism students only. Kits include: (1) LP-E17 battery, battery charger, memory card, and a USB-C/USB memory card reader.
Journalism Tripods	Models: 3Pod Tripod by Flashpoint Heavy duty tripod meant for photography. For Journalism students only.
Lights	Models: Genaray Spectro LED Essential 500IIB Bi-Color LED Light Panel This kit contains a 3 piece light kit for standard 3-point lighting. Dimmable brightness controls. AC adapter power only. Color temperature range from 3200 Kelvin to 5600 Kevin. Color temperature is variable with switch on back. For Documentary Filmmaking students only.

Mixers	Models: Shure SCM268 4-Channel XLR Microphone Mixer Shure FP410 4-Channel XLR Microphone Mixer (Automatic) The Shure SCM268 mixer supports: 4 XLR mics, 4 RCA inputs, 1 AUX RCA phono output, 1 XLR output, and it supplies Phantom Power. The Shure FP410 mixer supports: 4 XLR mics, 2 XLR outputs, and it supplies Phantom Power.
Presentation Remotes	Models: Logitech R400 wireless presenter This remote clicker with built in laser point can be used to advance slides in a presentation. It comes with the included USB A receiver.
Phones	Models: Polycom Soundstation Conference Phone Connects to any analog phone line. Three Cardioid microphone are located on each side. 360 degrees of audio pick up to 10' away.

Projector Screens	Models: Draper Road Warrior screens Screens have a diagonal viewing area between 75 - 80 inches. Screens stand approx. 6-7'. Width is approx. 5' 8". Setup: Swivel feet to a perpendicular position at base before extending screen.
Speakers	Models: Monster RR270 Portable Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Speaker (200W) ION Block Rocker Plus (100W) ION Block Rocker (iPA76A) (50W) All models support Bluetooth wireless microphone connectivity. The Monster RR270 speaker is water resistant. Connections: Each speaker comes equipped with a 1/4" and an Aux audio jack.
Tascam Audio Recorders	Models: Tascam DR-05 (Ver. 2) Professional stereo (L,R channel) .wav/.mp3 audio recorder. Recorder has additional 1/8" mic input. Tutorial: Tascam Instructions.
Tripods	Models: Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 w/ 128 RC head and quick release plate (Max height 67") Manfrotto 055XDB w/ 128LP head (Max height 70") Manfrotto MVMXPROA4 Aluminum (Monopod) (Max height 75") Best 360 (Monopod) (Max height 64") These Manfrotto tripods are designed for video. Their fluid heads are excellent for smoother motion when panning and tilting. The monopods are designed for use with 360 video.

Zoom Video Recorders	Models: Zoom Q2N The Zoom Q2N is marketed a camera for musicians. This device captures both HD video and very high quality audio with the built in X/Y microphones that capture stereo imaging. Tutorial: Zoom Q2N Instructions.
