Hawkwatch

Hawkwatch is Lehigh's campus mobile app, designed to keep the campus community informed about events, activities and safety information. Download the Hawkwatch app.

On Hawkwatch you will find these services:

Campus bus tracking
An interactive campus map and directory
Emergency contacts
Safety and campus police resources
Lockout services
LU Live cameras

Hawkwatch is the result of a collaborative effort between Lehigh’s Library and Technology Services (LTS) and University Communications and Public Affairs.

Emergency Notifications

One of the primary goals of the HawkWatch app is to provide all Lehigh community members with an immediate notification of on-campus emergencies. It’s important for Lehigh users to configure their devices to enable those notifications from the HawkWatch app.

App Offloading

Both iOS and Android operating systems can be configured to automatically delete apps that are not used over some period of time, in order to save storage space on the device. To ensure that HawkWatch is able to notify you in case of emergencies, it's important to ensure that it doesn’t get ‘offloaded’ in this way. Lehigh recommends turning off the ‘App Offloading’ feature, or regularly opening HawkWatch to ensure that it remains loaded.

Hawkwatch Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with Hawkwatch app, we recommend that you delete and reinstall the app on your phone.

iOS

Delete the HawkWatch app (or any app) on your Apple iOS Device: See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207618
If that doesn't work, here is an alternate method of deleting the HawkWatch App on iOS Devices.
1. Launch the Settings app.
2. Tap "General," and then "iPhone Storage."
3. From the iPhone Storage screen, tap on HawkWatch app to delete.
4. Tap "Delete App" to remove it.

Android

Long-press on the Hawkwatch icon until the app shortcut popup shows up. You'll either see an "i" button or see "App Info."
Tap it.
Next, tap Uninstall.
