Drop Lowest Grade in Gradebook

Please note: You can only drop the lowest grade in a category if all items in the category are of equal point values and weights.

If the items in the category are not all the same numbers or points and weights, this feature will not work.

Log into course site, navigate to the course, and then click on Grades from the top-level course navigation.

Go to grade book setup.

Click on the Edit button in the corresponding category from where you want to drop the lowest grade.

See this documentation if you need help creating a category and moving items into a category.

Next, click the Show more...

Next, in the "Drop the lowest" text box, add the number of lowest grades you would like to drop for that specific category.  Click Save Changes.
