Excluding a specific grade from category calculation
Click on the Grades tab on your course page and you will be taken to the Grader Report view in your grade book.
Go to the grade item you wish to exclude and click on the ellipsis icon. Then select Edit Grade.
Here you can toggle a checkbox to exclude this specific grade from a student’s calculations. Then save changes.
To confirm the setting is in effect, go back to your grader report page and you should see a circle icon with a dash in it next to the grade item.
