Excluding a specific grade from category calculation

• Click on the Grades tab on your course page and you will be taken to the Grader Report view in your grade book.

• Go to the grade item you wish to exclude and click on the ellipsis icon. Then select Edit Grade.

• Here you can toggle a checkbox to exclude this specific grade from a student’s calculations. Then save changes.

• To confirm the setting is in effect, go back to your grader report page and you should see a circle icon with a dash in it next to the grade item.
