Changing Grade Display Type

Changing Grade Display Type

Change default Grades Display types

By default, the Course Site gradebook shows the "Real" grade type. Which is simply the raw points the student currently has accumulated.  To show a different grade type (i.e., Grade, Percentage, etc) the grade type needs to be changed.

Go to Grades>Course grade Settings

Next, Go to the "Grade item settings" and change the Grade Display type to your preference. Make sure to scroll down and click "Save Changes".

Change only the total grade display type, not all grades

Go to Gradebook Set-up

Top Folder Level (course name)> ...> Edit category> Category Total > Show More> Grade Display Type

For more information about Grade Display Types, please visit the official Moodle 4.4 Documentation
