Find and Connect Printers on printers.cc.lehigh.edu

Departmental network printers are increasingly listed only on the printers.cc.lehigh.edu print server's 'install' share.  If your device is Lehigh-owned and connected to AD, follow the steps below to find and install one of these printers.

1.  Connect to the 'install' share on printers.cc.lehigh.edu:

  • On a Windows PC:

    1. Hold down the Windows key, and press 'R'. 

    2. In the 'Open' box in the resulting window, type '\\printers.cc.lehigh.edu\install' and click 'OK'.

  • On a Mac:

    1. Click on the desktop

    2. Press Command-K

    3. In the 'Connect to Server' window, type 'smb://printers.cc.lehigh.edu/install', and click 'Connect'

  • Authenticate with your Lehigh username and password if required.

2.  In the window that appears, double-click the folder named for your building.

3.  Note your printer's name as listed by room number, e.g. 'mudd-rm643-hp205' (easier in a list view)

  • On a Windows PC:  

    • Double-click on the shortcut for your printer to create a connection to it on your PC.

  • on a Mac:
