Macintosh: Print to Art | Architecture | Design PaperCut Printers

Follow these steps to print from your Mac to an AAD PaperCut Printers:

  1. On your Mac, open the ‘System Settings’ app,

  • Click on the “Printers & Scanners” tab,

  • ClickAdd Printer, Scanner or Fax

  1. In the “Add Printer” window, make sure that the “Automatic” printer icon is selected so that the list includes “Bonjour” printers.

  • Select the printer you want to print to by scrolling until you see the informal building name and room number and model that matches what you’re looking for.

  • Note the naming convention for the printers:

    • <informal building name> - rm <room #> - <make><model #>

  • In the example, a Ricoh 8500 in Room C010 of Building C is selected (C3 High-bay)

  • Note that ‘Secure AirPrint’ is also selected.

  • ClickAdd

  1. You will be asked to enter your Lehigh username and password to connect to the printer.

  • Click ‘OK’

  • You should now be able to select that printer for printing from apps on your Mac.
