Uptale for Immersive Learning

Lehigh now has an institutional license for Uptale. Uptale is a web based platform that allows users to create fully immersive and interactive 360 experiences without having any coding or programming background. Faculty can request an Uptale account for their class and have their students creating immersive content in VR quickly and easily. Instructors can also create their own immersive experiences for their students and utilize Uptale's built-in assessment tools and analysis dashboard.

Any Lehigh user can start creating in Uptale by submitting an Uptale account request to their Instructional Technologist at https://www.lehigh.edu/help. Once you have opened your account, you will have full access to the Uptale Knowledge Base and Uptale Academy to guide you through the process with step-by-step tutorials. All you need to get started is a 360 camera to capture the images and video which will be the basis of your immersive experiences. A variety of 360 cameras can be checked out at anytime from Lehigh's Digital Media Studio.
