Course Site - Connecting to your Dropbox account
These instructions will show you how to access your Dropbox account as any other available file repository via Course Site.
In order to access your Dropbox account, simply browse for a file to upload the same as you would any other time you have the option to upload a file. Click the Add file button.
Note: If you have a Dropbox window open in another browser window or on your computer, you can still use the drag-and-drop feature as with any other file.
When the File picker pop-up appears, you should see Dropbox as an option in the left column. Select Dropbox.
If you have NOT previously connected your Dropbox account to Course Site, follow the next three steps. You only need to connect your account once. Once your account is connected skip to the file selection step.
With Dropbox selected in the file picker pop-up, click the Login to your account button.
Another pop-up window will open prompting you to sign in to your Dropbox account. Sign in to your Dropbox account as you would normally.
The next screen that shows up in the Dropbox pop-up window will prompt you to authorize making the connection. You can link to personal Dropbox accounts as well as enterprise Dropbox accounts. Choose the appropriate option and the pop-up will automatically close and update the File picker window.
Once your account is connected, you will see your Dropbox files and folders appear in the File picker browser the same as any other file repository. Select the file you want to use.
Once you select a file, follow the prompts to complete the file selection process. These final steps will be the same as any other file selection.
