This comprehensive guide outlines the essential steps to successfully complete establishing your Lehigh University computing account. Within these pages, you'll find invaluable information on:

  • Account Claiming: Learn how to activate your Lehigh computing account, your gateway to a wide array of university services. This account will be your key to accessing crucial resources such as Google Workspace (for email, calendar, and cloud storage), Banner (for registration and financial aid), and Course Site (our robust learning management system).

  • Enhanced Security with Duo: Enhance your LU account security with instructions on how to enroll with Duo Multi-factor Authentication, an added layer of protection that safeguards the university’s valuable information.

  • Essential Applications and Resources: Explore a selection of essential applications and services that will be helpful throughout your journey at Lehigh.

We encourage you to carefully review this guide in its entirety to ensure a smooth and secure transition to your Lehigh experience.

 

The following steps are in order based on the admission process. Some steps will not be available until you are notified.

  1. Establishing Your New Student Lehigh University Account Credentials - This step is completed when accepted to Lehigh in order to log in and pay your deposit.

  2. Duo Multifactor (2FA) Authentication Enrollment - Lehigh University’s official multifactor (2FA) authentication platform. This required step cannot be completed until your Lehigh University email account is provisioned.

  3. Activate your Gmail Account - Lehigh University’s official email service that is part of Google Workspace, formerly known as G Suite. Google Workspace is a collection of tools for productivity, collaboration, and communication. You will be notified via admissions when you can anticipate that your LU email account will be provisioned.

  4. Hawkwatch Alerts Enrollment - Lehigh University’s official personal safety mobile app.

  5. General Computing Account Usage - How to get your LIN, use Banner self-service, and more.
