Departmental Network File Storage (I: Drive)

For Staff and Faculty, in addition to their Personal LAN space (H-drive), LTS also provides LAN storage space for departments (100 GB) which is automatically mapped to the 'I:' drive on most Windows-based PCs in the Lehigh Active Directory domain. Generally, all users in your department have full read/write access to all of the folders in the space, but numerous special folders are created as needed.

Permissions to read and write files in this space are managed by LTS, and users will see somewhat different sets of directories and files based on their department and individual account permissions. See your Computing Consultant for more information about access to specific files and folders.  CCs can add or remove users from the Active Directory groups which provide access to specific folders.

If they're not connected for you automatically at login, you can follow the instructions below to manually connect to those network storage areas. To access your I: drive off-campus, you must use the Lehigh VPN.
