Jupyter Notebooks on OOD

  • Login to the Open OnDemand portal

  • Use the dropdown menu under Interactive Apps and select Jupyter Notebooks

  • Jupyter Notebooks uses the anaconda/python_3.6 module

    • source the appropriate conda environment or use the default environment

    • Visit https://go.lehigh.edu/python

      for more information

    • If you want to use a different module, then unload the python_3.6 module and enter the commands to set your environment

  • Click launch and wait for resources to become available

  • When resources are available, click the big blue button to launch Jupyter Notebooks

  • By default, you will land on your home directory
