Cookbook

This page is a proposal for refreshing the Research Computing Knowledge Base.

The Cookbook for Research Computing (CBRC) is a catalog of minimum working examples (MWEs), development sandboxes, scaffolds for new projects, and templates for existing research computing services. For now, we provide these in an unstructured list.

Assorted MWEs

1. LLM QA Builder: Using a local LLM to build question-answer pairs from chunks of text.

2. Using Abaqus 2023: Instructions for compiling user-defined subroutines by using a research license.

3. Using Tensorflow on Hawk: Install an Anaconda environment with Tensorflow and CUDA and use this environment in a Jupyter Notebook on our Open OnDemand portal.
