Procedure for Lost or Stolen Devices

If your Lehigh device is stolen the following steps should be taken.

  1. If stolen, file a report with the local police department where the theft occurred.

  2. Contact the LTS Help Desk. LTS will:

    1. Determine if the device was encrypted and begin to investigate data security/privacy concerns.

    2. Attempt to locate the device through the software installed on the device.

    3. Attempt to disable the device.

    4. Assist the department in procuring a new device and/or providing a loaner.

  3. Call LUPD at (610) 758-4200 to report the theft of a Lehigh device and provide them with the case number or details of the original police report.
