LastPass is Lehigh's selected vendor for password management, and managed accounts can be provisioned online from the LastPass website.  Follow the instructions below to activate and begin using your account.

NOTE:  If you already have an existing LastPass account, using a Lehigh email address, it is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED that you change the email address associated with that account BEFORE enrolling in a new, managed, Lehigh LastPass Business account. LastPass has a support page with step-by-step instructions for updating the email address associated with that account.

Install and Activate LastPass Business (Faculty & Staff)

1.  Enroll in Lehigh LastPass at the Enrollment Portal

Faculty and staff must enroll in LastPass through the LastPass Self-Enrollment Portal.  (https://accounts.lehigh.edu/tools/lastpass/self-enroll).

On the web page, click on the 'Enroll' button.

This will initiate the provisioning process, which will result in an email invitation to join LastPass, but can take up to two hours.

In the meantime. . .

2.  Install the LastPass client program for your browser.

Logging in through one of the client programs is required to activate your LastPass account.

  1. Open your web browser of choice.
  2. Go to the LastPass download page (https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php).
  3. Click on the 'Quick Install' button.
  4. Add the extension to your browser.

3.  Check your Email for the LastPass invitation.

    1. In the “LastPass Account Created” email invitation, click on Activate LastPass.

If you don't receive an invitation to claim your LastPass Business account, or your invitation has expired, you may request an account by emailing the Help Desk.

4.  Log in with your Lehigh credentials

At this point, you're ready to start using LastPass Premium for securely storing account names, passwords, and other common form fields. Visit LastPass to discover all the ways this service can simplify and secure your online browsing.
