Important Notes
- Jabber will not work correctly if you are connected to the Library/International VPN. If you need to use the VPN while using Jabber, please select the General Access VPN.
- Video service via Jabber is not currently available.
Install Cisco Jabber
- Go to the Apple App Store, search for “Cisco Jabber” and click Get to download
- When the download is complete, launch Cisco Jabber by clicking the Open icon
- Click OK or Don’t Allow (your choice) to allow Cisco Jabber to access your contacts
- Click OK or Don’t Allow (your choice) to allow Siri to use Cisco Jabber
- Click Allow to allow Cisco Jabber to send you notifications
- Click Accept to indicate that you will not use Jabber for 911 calls
- Swipe left through the next 2-3 startup screens until you see the Get Started Now button on the bottom of the page. Click Get Started Now
- Click OK to allow Jabber to use your microphone
- At the Cisco Jabber screen, enter your Username@lehigh.edu and click Continue
- You will be taken to a second sign-in screen; enter your Username (i.e. lh00 or bjp414) and password and click Sign In
- Select OK on the screen noting that Cisco Jabber should not be used for 911 calls

Important information
- Video service via Jabber is not currently available.
- Cisco Jabber must be open and running in the background on your phone in order to receive calls. Otherwise, the call will go to voicemail.
