If you are trying to install software and are prompted for administrative credentials that you do not have (username/password), try these steps…
Go to the system tray in the lower right corner of your screen and look for a “green checkmark”
icon. Click on “Request administrator access.”
Fill out the form that pops up.
You will see the message below.
In a short period of time you should receive an email provisioning you with time-limited admin rights to your device. Note: If you are working during off-hours, the time to receive rights may be longer than normal.
