Quizzes in Moodle 4 function very similarly to previous versions.  Below are some screenshot to highlight where to find the settings.

Creating The Quiz

If questions have already been added to the course quiz bank, or if even if you are not ready to add questions, you can add a quiz by turning editing on.  Click the "Add an activity or resource" button and choose Quiz (under the "Activities", "Starred" or "All" tab).




NEW Improved Question Management



Needs Checking - highlights a question whose results suggest there is a problem with it, and it should be reviewed.

Facility index - The average mark (as a percentage) obtained on the question. A higher value normally indicates an easier question.

Discriminative efficiency -  this is the correlation between the score for this question and the score for the whole quiz. That is, for a good question, you hope that the students who score highly on this question are the same students who score highly on the whole quiz. Higher numbers are better.
