Modify Student View in your Gradebook

View User Report

You can use the user Report to review what your student sees in their gradebook. Here you can verify how grades are formatted, if there are hidden items,  and easily view grades for each student.

Toggle on Edit Mode (in upper right)

Click on Grades

Click the View Menu in Grades > User Report

Filter by a student, and view the report as a User ("Student") or as Myself.

Update Course Grade Settings

Toggle on Edit Mode (in upper right)

Click on Grades

Click the Setup tab > Course Grade Settings

Go to Grade Item settings to change the Grade display type

Please note: The "letter" scale aligns with the Lehigh grading scale, but you will still need to input a numerical value for all grades. However, you can change how that numerical grade is displayed. "Real" reflects a raw points value given for any item, and "percentage" is how much earn based on points - for example, 5 points out of 10 would be 50 percent and display as a F letter grade.

Display the Final Grade (Total Column) as a Letter Only

Toggle on Edit Mode (in upper right)

Click on Grades

Go to Gradebook set-up

At top folder level (course title), click on Edit settings

Go to Category Total, click on "Show more"

Update Grade display type to Letter
