Using Scannx station to convert print to accessible digital documents
The purpose of this documentation is to briefly describe how to use the Scannx stations, currently available in EWFM behind the Help Desk and in Linderman 135, to scan and convert print documents to accessible digital documents.
The Scannx Book ScanCenter is a turnkey "copier replacement" system that allows large (up to 11"x17") flat items to be scanned in color, greyscale, and black and white and sent via email or fax (U.S. & Canada Only), as well as save to Google Drive or personal USB memory stick in a variety of formats (TIFF, PNG, PDF, Searchable PDF, Word). A sheet-feed scanner accommodates dual-side scanning of loose papers (up to 8.5"x11").
