GaussView is a graphical interface used with Gaussian. It aids in the creation of Gaussian input files, enables the user to run Gaussian calculations from a graphical interface without the need for using a command line instruction, and helps in the interpretation of Gaussian output (e.g., you can use it to plot properties, animate vibrations, visualize computed spectra, etc.).

NOTE: You need to be member of the gaussian group to use GaussView

Open OnDemand

  1.  Select Visualization from the Interactive Apps dropdown

  2.  Select GaussView from the dropdown list and choose the resources you want to use 

  3.  Click "Launch" to submit your request to the SLURM scheduler

  4.  When resources are available, a blue "Launch Visualization" button will appear. Click to button to launch GaussView
