Cameras for desktop or laptop mount.  Can be positioned to record writing if using a flexible mount.

Alternate option: If you have your own video camcorder or DSLR you could use them as a web camera with the Elgato Cam Link 4K USB to HDMI converter. This device will allow most video cameras to act as a web camera.

Smart Phone

If you have smartphone and a flexible mount, you can record video of yourself writing out your 'board work' by hand on a sheet of paper. Then, making sure you have first provisioned Panopto for your Course Site, upload that video using Panopto's mobile app.
