Lehigh University is transitioning from physical Cisco phones to virtual Zoom soft phones. With Zoom phone, you no longer need to press 7* to dial outside the university—simply dial the 10-digit number (e.g., 610-758-3000). For extensions, continue using 8* followed by the last four digits of the office number.

How do I access my Zoom Phone?
Please launch your Zoom application and navigate to the Phone tab. If you don’t see the Phone tab, submit a help ticket.
Will my phone number change?
No, your phone number will stay the same.
How do I check my voicemail?
Open the Zoom app and go to the Phone tab. On the left, next to 'History,' you'll see the 'Voicemail' tab. Select a voicemail from the list and press play. You can also delete, download, or mark voicemails as read directly from the app. When a voicemail is received, a notification will appear on the Zoom app and will generate a detailed email as well.
How do I still customize my voicemail message?
Log in to Lehigh.zoom.us.
Navigate to the Phone section in the left-hand side menu.
Set a 6-12 digit PIN to proceed with customization.
Click on the Settings tab and scroll down till you see the Call Handling section.
Under Greeting & Leave Voicemail Instructions, click the edit dropdown menu and select Add Audio.
Choose from the options: Text to Speech, Upload Audio, or Record by Computer.
Will I lose any functionality compared to my physical desk phone?
No, you should have all the functionality as a physical desk phone.
Can I use the Zoom Phone on my smartphone or tablet?
Yes, we suggest using the Zoom Phone function on your PC or the Zoom app on your mobile device.
When I call someone using the Zoom Phone function on my smartphone. Will others see my personal number?
No, when calling through the Zoom app it will show your office number and caller ID information.
How do I set up my Zoom Phone settings, so callers don’t disturb me after work hours?
Log in to Lehigh.zoom.us.
Navigate to the Phone section in the left-hand side menu.
Click on the Settings tab and scroll down till you see the Call Handling section.
Under Business hours, click the edit.
Click the radio button called Custom Hours and adjust according to your schedule.
I’m receiving spam calls, How can I reduce or manage these calls?
You can block specific numbers in the Zoom Phone settings to prevent future calls from those numbers.
Go to the “Phone” tab in Zoom, find the spam call in your call history, click on the three dots next to the number, and select “Block.”
