Library Laptops (short-term rentals)
Dell Latitude laptops are available to be borrowed at both the E.W. Fairchild-Martindale and Linderman libraries. The laptops can be checked out in a similar manner to checking out a book at the circulation desk in each library. Important facts to know about borrowing these laptops include:
- No charge to borrow
- 4-hour borrowing period
- Take it anywhere
- Pre-loaded with Microsoft Office and anti-virus protection software.
- User account has administrative ability to install software (unlike using a public site machine)
Library Laptops (long-term rentals)
Laptops are also available for rent from the Media Center at $5/day, $25/week, payable with Bursar bill, GoldPLUS, departmental account(requires account executive approval), or by check. The fee to borrow a laptop may be waived if you have a computer in repair with our Computer Repair Service (CRS) or if the laptop is used in a class with a projector and returned the same day. Laptop rental is dependent on availability of loaners.
