titleQuotas

Google will begin charging for storage above certain levels in 2024, and Lehigh users may be charged for data stored above their quota.

Google Drive is a cloud-based file storage system for which Lehigh has an educational license, and which integrates deeply with Gmail and other Google tools.  Drive functions as a primary access point for Google's Workspace tools, which are a suite of office productivity apps including Docs, a word processor, Sheets, a spreadsheet program, Slides, a presentation creation tool, and others, which are all tightly integrated with Drive.

Synchronization tools, including Google Drive are available to automatically maintain local copies of files stored at Google.  Also, remember that Lehigh's use of Google Drive is governed by our Data Classification Policy, the Records Retention Policy, and the Cloud Computing Policy.
