Follow these steps to share your Lehigh Google Photos with a personal account outside of Lehigh.

- Make sure you have adequate space in your destination Google account. Buy space if needed.
- Confirm that your destination account is in your Google Contacts.
Initiate Partner Sharing with your Destination Account
Step 1. Go to Google Photos and log in with your Lehigh username and password.
Step 2. Within Photos, click on the Gear icon and open Settings. Then click Partner Sharing. See image right.
Step 3. Choose the appropriate options for sharing (All your photos, by date, or by location are a few options you might see).
Step 4. Search for your sharing partner (make sure your sharing partner is in your Contacts).
Step 5. Send the invitation to your partner.
Accept Partner Sharing within your Destination Account
Step 6. In a separate window or browser, Log into your Destination non-Lehigh account.
Step 7. Check your email. In your non-Lehigh google account, you will have an email invitation. Click to view the invitation, shown right. Please note: you can also accept this invitation by going to https://photos.google.com/ and opening the Sharing tab.
Step 8. Accept the invitation to Share.

Now, in your Google Photos Gallery, you will see photos from your Lehigh account.

Step 9. You can now save selected photos, or change your Sharing setting to save All photos.

a. To save selected photos. Select the photos in your gallery that you want to save (a blue check appears when a photo is selected). When all photos are selected, click on the Save cloud icon.
b. Save all All Photos from a partner account.

i. In the personal/non-Lehigh Google account, click on the Settings Gear and scroll to Partner Sharing. Navigate to the Lehigh account partner, and click on

the Save to your account section (shown right). Note that by default it says "None."
ii. A popup similar to the one pictured right will display. The default option Don't save any photos. Click Save all photos to save all of the photos shared with this account to your account.

Note: You will not see a storage increase until the sharing partner deletes photos in the source account or disconnects sharing. There is a bug in Google Photos as of 2022 that prevents the storage being used in your account if the source account is disconnected. This may change any time in the future so if you suddenly see your storage jump it could mean they have fixed it.
