Log into course site, navigate to the course, and then click on Grades from the top-level course navigation.
Go to grade book setup. Click
Click on the Edit button in the corresponding category from where you want to drop the lowest grade.

Next, click the Show more...
Next, in the "Drop the lowest" text box, add the number of lowest grades you would like to drop for that specific category. Click Save changesChanges.
