Cisco Jabber is a communications tool for that is part of the Lehigh University phone systemplatform. The main purpose of the client is to allow app allows faculty and staff to send make and receive phone calls for on their main Lehigh phone extension from mobile and desktop devices. While the client does offer chat/instant messaging, we recommend that you continue to use support Google Chat and strictly use Cisco Jabber only for phone calls.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before starting this installation, your device (computer or mobile) must be connected to Lehigh’s VPN through Cisco Anyconnect if you are off campus. We are working towards removing this limitation.
