ESRI publishes what is still the standard in Geographic Information Systems, ArcGIS Desktop. Just about any kind of mapping and relation of map-related data is managed and displayed by this software. The EES Departmentin the College of Arts and Sciences maintains a site license and license server for classroom and research useEsri designs a suite of tools used to visualize and analyze Geographic Information Systems (GIS). These tools are collectively known as ArcGIS. Library and Technology Services maintains an ArcGIS site license that gives students, faculty, and staff access to many of these products, including desktop software (ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro), cloud-based programs (ArcGIS Online), and mobile applications.
