The viewer must have the correct permissions to view your video.
You can share a your video
- by adding specific people to the video using their lehigh email address,
- or change the access to allow anyone at lehigh to view it,
- or anyone at all.
The sharing permissions for Panopto work much the same way as Google file sharing. You can share an entire folder or an individual video.
Restricted: Share the video with specific people and groups as viewers.
Your Organization (unlisted): Anyone at your organization with whom you've shared the link.
Your Organization: Anyone at your organization can find and access the video.(Do not Use)Public (unlisted): Anyone with whom you've shared the link can access the video.
Public: Anyone can find and access this video.(Do not Use)
Make Your Videos Available as a WebLink
Anyone can share a their Panopto video or a Panopto folder by using a URL.

You can log into Panopto website directly. Go to go.lehigh.edu/Panopto OR https://lehighonline.hosted.panopto.com and login to Panopto via Course Site. You will need to log in using your Lehigh credentials. |

Panopto Folder Permissions
You can update a your folder to the correct sharing permissions.
- Go to your folder that you wish to share
- Go to settings (gear icon) in upper right
- Navigate to share
- Change sharing permissions
Please note: "My Folder" can't be shared, but subfolders can be.
