Permission sets provide the basis of what users are allowed to do in DocuSign.

The following table explains the permission sets and their permissions that are available in Lehigh's instance of DocuSign. 

After choosing the appropriate permission set, please go to the Training page to view the respective training videos.  Once you have viewed the videos, please submit a Jira request for DocuSign access.

  • Language selection
  • Can use/send existing Power Forms, but cannot create them

  • Can use templates, but cannot create them
Individual DesignerLU Prod Sender and Template Creator

LU Prod Sender permissions plus:

  • Can create templates for personal use
Bulk SenderLU Prod Bulk Sender

LU Prod Sender permissions plus:

  • Can bulk send envelops
Bulk Sender & Individual DesignerLU Prod Sender, Bulk Sender and Template CreatorLU Prod Sender and Template Creator plus LU Prod Bulk Sender permissions
Technical DesignerLU Demo Sender with Elevated Privileges

These privileges are elevated privileges in the test environment for users that would like to create electronic signature processes stemming from advanced use case scenarios for use throughout the department or at University level.  Users have a higher level of access only available in the test environment where they can create and test content until is ready for LTS - ESI to move elements to production.  Typically reserved for technical/advanced users within departments. 

  • Can create signing groups
  • Can see additional reports
  • Can design PowerForms
  • Can design templates to be shared with LU users or groups

Groups provide users in the ability to share documents, templates, envelops, contacts, etc. within Docusign to only the people within the group.  Thus, it can reduce the amount of
duplicate work as well as keep certain objects private within a group. You may belong to multiple groups and you may also request a new group. Please see the process for creating a new group (need to add). 

The following table lists the groups that are currently available for Lehigh University Faculty and Staff.  You will need approval from the group steward to become a member.
