Download and Archive your Unviewed Panopto Recordings

The Panopto cloud is for actively sharing your videos with others. Recordings that have not been viewed in 18 months will be archived.


If you wish to create a back-up or download your recordings in Panopto for permanent storage, please follow these steps.

  1. Log into Panopto
  2. Locate and hover over the video that you would like to download or back-up
  3. Click Settings
