Confluence

Confluence serves as the framework for creating and presenting documentation through spaces.

While spaces can be generated and modified by any licensed Lehigh Confluence user, the visibility of these spaces can be set to public or restricted to specific groups. The owners of individual spaces hold the responsibility of managing access permissions as needed, whether to restrict or allow access, as outlined here.

To enhance information sharing value without necessitating licenses for each viewer, we have implemented the use of Anonymous users on our Lehigh.atlassian.net site.

Anonymous access has been activated by Atlassian admins on our site, empowering space owners to grant viewing permissions to non-licensed users (both anonymous or lehigh.edu). However, space owners are required to configure these settings individually for each space, as detailed here.

For staff members looking to start creating and editing content, the option to request Confluence licenses is available.
