Slack troubleshooting

Having trouble signing into your Slack workspace on your mobile device?

If you are having problems signing into a Workspace through the Slack app on your phone try this:

  1. Important: Make sure your phone’s default browser is set correctly.

    1. • On iPhone, the default browser must be Safari.

    2. • On Android, the default browser must be Chrome.

    3. Do not set any third-party browser as the default, as this may prevent the Slack app from opening correctly.

  2. Open the browser on your phone and go to lehigh.enterprise.slack.com  Make sure you are not in private or incognito mode.

  3. Enter your username and password, and complete Duo authentication if needed. Once you have done that, it should display the list of workspaces that you have access to.

  4. Find the workspace that you want to open and select the Launch in Slack button. The Open Slack button should open that workspace in your Slack app.

If those steps don't work, uninstall your Slack app from your mobile device and retry the above steps again.

Check your browser settings. If your browser is set to Private Browsing (Safari), turn off private browsing and try again.

I’m using Brave, DuckDuckGo, Opera, or other non-LU browser – I can’t get Slack to work.

We strongly recommend you use a supported Lehigh browser (such as Safari, Chrome, Edge). Browsers that are not pre-loaded by Lehigh may prevent the Slack app from opening properly. If you are using one of these browsers, and you have an issue, try a supported browser to see if this issue resolves. LTS fully supports Chrome, Safari, and Edge and if a non-standard browser does not work well with a Lehigh service we will advise you to use a supported browser.
