Windows: Install ChemDraw Professional

After removing previous installations of ChemOffice, and downloading the installation file, follow the instructions below to install ChemDraw Pro into Windows.

1.  Locate the installer file in your 'Downloads' folder, (you may have a newer version than shown here) and Double-click the file to start the extraction the installation files.

2.  Click ‘OK’ to proceed.

3.  After extraction, the installer wizard will start. Click ‘Next’ to proceed.

4.  In the installation wizard, continue to click ‘Next' to accept default configuration options.  (Accepting the license requires scrolling to the bottom of it). When the installer is ready to copy files, click 'Install’

5.  While the installer is running, you’ll see this window and a progress bar.

6.  Once the wizard has finished, you can start the program by double-clicking the desktop icon, or by clicking on the 'Start' button, and typing 'ChemDraw Professional', and selecting Open.

7. When run for the first time, ChemDraw will ask how you’d like to activate the software. Select the second option, ‘Activate ChemOffice . . . ' and click 'Continue’.

8. In the vendor’s activation window, fill in your information, including your Product Activation Code (as copied down during the download), and click ‘Activate’ .

9. You should see a pop-up if activation is successful. Click ‘OK’.

10. ChemDraw should now start.
