Record Live Audio with Zoom Mobile App in Android or iOS

You can now use the Zoom mobile app on your phone to make an audio recording of a meeting.

Activate Functionality on Web Browser

You cannot activate this setting within the mobile app itself; it must be done through the web browser.

  1. Go to lehigh.zoom.us.

  2. Click Sign In to log in with your Lehigh credentials (SSO).

  3. On the left-hand sidebar, click Settings.

  4. At the top of the Settings page, click the AI Companion tab.

  5. Scroll down to the Recording section under the AI Companion tab. Tip: Instead of scrolling, you can use the search bar at the top of the settings page and type "Voice Recorder".

  6. Find Voice recorder with AI Companion and switch the toggle to On.

  7. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable.

Voice Recorder (Ad Hoc or Scheduled):

  1. Sign in to the Zoom mobile app on your phone.

  2. Tap Record to create an ad-hoc recording, or select a scheduled event.

  3. If needed, tap Record and then Start recording.

  4. Tap Done Checkmark to finish recording.

 

If you have AI meeting summaries enabled, you should get an email sent to you to let you know that the meeting assets and recording are ready for review.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After you have ended the meeting, the recording will process and appear under Recordings on the Zoom web portal. Recordings will be automatically deleted after 120 days.
