Papercut Find-Me Printing: Public Site Computers

How to Print Using the PaperCut Find-Me Queue

Note: These steps assume the Find-Me print queue is already installed on your computer or device. To install it, follow instructions for installing Mobility Print for your device.

  1. Send Your Document to the Queue

  • Open the document you want to print.

  • Navigate to your application's print settings (File > Print).

  • Select the printer labeled “\\queue1.ad.lehigh.edu\Find-Me” from your drop-down list of available printers and hit Print.

  1. Scan the Printer's QR Code

  • 2a: Note: If you do not have a mobile device, skip to step 4a.

  • Walk up to the physical printer where you want to pick up your document.

  • Open your smartphone's camera and scan the QR code located on the printer.

  • 2b: Note: This QR code is specifically tied to the printer located in that designated room.

  1. Log In to the Print Release Portal

  • Scanning the QR code will prompt a link on your phone. Tap it to be redirected to the PaperCut Print Release page.

  • Log in using your standard Lehigh University credentials.

  1. Release Your Print Job

  • Once logged in, your pending print jobs will appear on your phone screen.

  • Locate the document you just sent and tap “Release” to securely print it from the machine you are standing at.

  • 4a: Note: If you do not have a mobile device to release the job, please use the “Print Job Release” shortcut located on the desktop.

  1. Print to an Alternate Printer (If Necessary)

  • If the printer you are at is jammed, out of paper, or you wish to use a different one, you don't need to resend the document.

  • Simply select an available, alternate printer from the list on your phone screen and tap “Release” to complete the process there.

Quick Tip: Make sure your smartphone has an active internet connection to the campus Wi-Fi so the PaperCut Print Release page loads smoothly
