Google AI Studio

Google AI Studio

Google AI Studio is a web-based prototyping environment designed for developers and power users to build applications using Gemini models. Unlike the standard consumer "Gemini" chat interface, AI Studio provides granular control. Think of it as a "sandbox" or workbench where you can experiment with Artificial Intelligence before deploying it. Google AI Studio serves as a bridge between casual AI use and computer science engineering.

For example:

  • Use Gemini (App) when you need to quickly draft an email, summarize a single document, or brainstorm ideas for a lesson plan.

  • Use AI Studio when you are developing a specific tool, trying to force the AI to output data in a specific format (JSON, CSV, or pure Code), or building a custom "Bot".
