IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: On Friday, May 28, 2021, Lehigh will be changing the length of time that cloud recordings are retained in Zoom from 120 days to 30 days. If you want to keep your Zoom recordings longer than 30 days, we offer an integration between Lehigh Dropbox and Zoom. Below are instructions on how to set that up.

Please Note: Dropbox storage isn't limited to video and covers all stored files. Dropbox offers unlimited data storage for faculty and staff and 5TB for students.

Setting up the connection between Zoom and Dropbox

  1. Sign in to Dropbox. If you have yet to enroll in Lehigh Dropbox, be sure to visit: https://lts.lehigh.edu/services/dropbox first. Make sure you log in using your Lehigh credentials by entering your Lehigh email address (do not use an alias) so Dropbox can detect you are affiliated with Lehigh. (You will see the "single-sign-on enabled" message appear)

  2. Click your profile icon at the top-right of the screen, then click Settings.
  3. Click the Connected apps tab.
  4. Next to Zoom, click Connect to Zoom and follow the prompts to complete the connection.

If you do not see Zoom as an option here, please follow the steps below:
    1. Click the link to access App Center.
    2. In the filter text field, type "zoom" and when the option appears, select the Zoom option.
    3. When prompted, acknowledge the initial connection by clicking Got It.
    4. At the Zoom sign-in prompt, click the Sing in with SSO option.
    5. Enter "lehigh" in the Zoom domain field. Then click Continue.
    6. You will then be prompted to confirm the permissions Dropbox needs in order to properly interact with your Lehigh Zoom account. These permissions have already been pre-approved by Lehigh's Zoom and Dropbox administrators. Simple click Authorize to continue.
    7. You will next be prompted to enable copying of Zoom cloud recordings to your Lehigh Dropbox account. Click Enable.
    8. That's it! If for some reason you are not directed back to your Lehigh Dropbox account main profile and are instead taken to the Zoom app page within Dropbox, simply click your profile/avatar icon at the top-right of the screen and either click your name, or click Settings to go to your account settings where you can follow the steps below to verify that the automatic copying of Zoom cloud recordings to your Lehigh Dropbox account is properly enabled.

Verifying automatic copy of Zoom cloud recordings to Dropbox is enabled

  1. Sign-in to Dropbox with your Lehigh credentials (if you are not already logged in).
  2. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the screen.
