With the new improved Zoom whiteboard, you can write and/or collaborate on your screen and share it with any participants in a Zoom session or outside a Zoom session with Lehigh participants only.

Starting a Whiteboard
During a meeting: Click the Whiteboard button at the bottom of your Zoom window, then select to share a new or existing whiteboard.
Outside of a meeting: From the Zoom desktop client, click the Whiteboards button, then click New Whiteboard.
Or go to https://lehigh.zoom.us/, log-in with your lehigh credentials, and choose whiteboard in the menu on the left.
Using the Whiteboard Tools
Once you are sharing your whiteboard, you should see your video feed, the annotation toolbar, and the meeting control bar.
- You are able to customize and move your windows and toolbars.

The whiteboard editing tools are located on the left side of the screen.
Key editing tools:
- Select: Select, move, or resize your annotations.
- Text: Insert text onto the whiteboard.
- Draw: Draw freehand with various pen colors and thicknesses.
- Shapes: Add shapes like squares, circles, and arrows.
- Stamp: Add pre-designed stamps like stars, checkmarks, and arrows.
- Eraser: Erase parts of your annotations.
- Undo/Redo: Undo or redo your actions.
- Frames:
- Sticky notes
- Stickies, Emojiis, and Gifs:
- Templates: Use pre-made templates for brainstorming, planning, and more.
Presenting tools:
- Multiple Pages: Create multiple pages within a whiteboard to organize your ideas.
- Timer: Set a countdown timer for activities or brainstorming sessions.
- Voting: Create a voting session: Click the "Vote" icon and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the voting parameters (e.g., which items are being voted on, how many votes each participant has).
- Laser: Laser pointer to draw attention to a particular area.
Sharing a Zoom Whiteboard
You can save your whiteboard and share it with others. You can allow others at Lehigh to edit your whiteboard before or after your meeting and export a pdf copy for those external to lehigh after a meeting.
