An email from "inbanreq" will be sent 14 days prior to your password expiration date. An Oracle password may be changed within Internet Native Oracle or on a password change web pagea Banner Admin form or through a reporting tool, like SQL Developer. Instructions for each are below.
Please note: Your password change will not be updated in the ecRPTP instance of Oracle until the following day. ecRPTP is used by the Desktop Finance uses the ecRPTP database. Passwords for other instances of Oracle are not affected.

- Log into Banner Admin (AppNav): https://appnav-prod.ec.lehigh.edu/applicationNavigator
- Go to the Oracle Password Change form, GUAPSWD. In the search box, you can either start typing "oracle password" or type in the form in directlyname "GUAPSWD".

Banner -> General -> System Functions/Administration -> Menu/Preference Maintenance -> Oracle Password Change

- Once in the GUAPSWD form, you should see your username next to the Oracle User ID field.
- Enter your current Oracle password in the box next to Oracle Password* (outlined in gold in the image below)
- Leave the Database field blank
- Enter a new password following the password criteria mentioned above, in both the New Oracle Password and Verify Password boxes (outlined in green in the image below)
- Then hit Save and exit the form.
- You're done!

- Open SQL Developer and right-click on the database you want to reset your the password infor.
- In this example, we right-click on ecprod, which connects to the Banner PROD environment. This could be named something differently if you changed it, like "PROD" or "prod".
- A menu will pop-out. Click on Reset Password...
- A new window will pop-out to enter a new password.
- If the Username field is empty, enter your Oracle username (usually the same username you use to log onto the Lehigh network)
- Enter your current password in the Current Password box (outlined in gold in the image below)
- Enter a new password following the password criteria mentioned above, in both the New Password and Confirm Password boxes (outlined in green in the image below)
- Then hit OK.
- You're done!
