These instructions are for any Lehigh user needing to manually map their personal LAN drive (H-drive) on computers that are not in Active Directory (AD), such as personally-owned machines. These instructions may also be useful for users who are traveling or living off-campus and connecting to the Lehigh network via the Lehigh VPN. Click on graphics to enlarge.

. First, make sure you're connected to the Lehigh campus network, using either an Ethernet cable, Lehigh wireless, or over the internet using the VPN.

. Right-Click on your Computer or This PC icon and choose Map Network Drive from the contextual menu.

This process may also be used to overwrite a non-functioning mapped drive already assigned to the H: designation on your personal computer. When prompted, allow the mapping to override your existing mapped drive. If your H: designation has already been assigned and you do not wish to overwrite it, simply pick any unused letter to map the storage drive to. |
